- Producer Frank Fischer has supervised various shows and movies for Lorimar/MGM, including 2 years of "Our House" starring Wilford Brimley and Deidre Hall and "Eight Is Enough." the first reunion. As well, he produced a number of mows/series for NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX, and the USA Network. His shows included "Fame," National Lampoon's "American Family," for WB studios and the movie "The Unabomber."
In 1999, Frank completed an assignment as Head of Production for Lexington Road Productions where he supervised the production of Showtime's recent Family Movie "A Time For Dancing", television, and theatrical projects including "Siegfried & Roy" for Imax, culminating with the Tony-Award winning Tennessee Williams' play "Not About Nightingales" directed by Trevor Nunn. Recently, Frank completed producing the feature documentary "Keeper of the Flame" (2005), starring Linda Ellerbee and Wilford Brimley - a film that travels to the heart of fire. Frank has produced "One Bright Shining Moment-The Forgotten Summer of George McGovern", a documentary about Senator George McGovern. Also developing "Bold Tracks", a feature documentary based on the life of Hal O'Leary - the man who developed the program for disability skiing throughout the world in 80 nations.
Frank resides in Pacific Palisades.
