Hollywoodnews.com: Apparently “Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark” isn’t the only superhero property that’s hazardous to an actor’s health.
John Franco, a special effects worker on Warner Bros.’ upcoming “Green Lantern” film, has filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming “unspecified damages from an incident he claims took place in July 2010 on the Louisiana set” of Martin Campbell’s superhero flick.
Though the suit lacks specific details, THR reports that Franco claims to have suffered “numerous internal and external injuries, severe fright, shock, pain, discomfort and anxiety.”
Who hasn’t?
But Franco is thinking big, trying to sue Warner, DC Comics, South Bay Exf Inc. and virtually anyone associated with “Green Lantern.” Watch your back, Ryan Reynolds.
Warner did not comment on the suit. Smart move.
As for “Green Lantern,” it will be in theaters on June 17. Let’s hope it...
