Exclusive: The CW has rounded out the series regular cast of The Librarians: The Next Chapter. Callum McGowan, Olivia Morris, Bluey Robinson and Caroline Loncq join previously announced Jessica Green and guest star Christian Kane, who reprises his role as Jacob Stone, in the spinoff series.
From writer and executive producer Dean Devlin, The Librarians: The Next Chapter is a spinoff of the original TV series The Librarians, which followed the adventures of the custodians of a magical repository of the world’s most powerful and dangerous supernatural artifacts. The new series centers on a “Librarian” (McGowan) from the past, who time traveled to the present and now finds himself stuck here. When he returns to his castle, which is now a museum, he inadvertently releases magic across the continent. He is given a new team to help him clean up the mess he made, forming a new team of Librarians.

At one point, we didn't think Almost Paradise Season 2 would see the light of day.
The series premiered in 2020 on WGN America and picked up many passionate fans along the way.
The team-up of Christian Kane and Dean Devlin always leads to magic, so we were left in shock when the series was let go by the cable network.
Thankfully, Amazon Freevee stepped in and picked up Almost Paradise Season 2, and it premieres this summer.
As revealed Monday by TV Line, all ten episodes of Almost Paradise Season 2 will wash up on the free streaming service on Friday, July 21.
It will be available in the U.S. and the UK on that date, with other territories likely following shortly after.
Kane returns to star along with returning executive producers and co-showrunners Devlin and Gary Rosen.
Kane plays Alex Walker, a former U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agent forced into early retirement.

With almost no sports left to watch on TV, “Wheel of Fortune” is starting to feel like an extreme sport.
Fans were beside themselves over one mind-bogglingly quick puzzle solve by a contestant on Thursday’s show, who guessed an entire phrase with only one letter on the board.
Contestant Mark Franco, an avid outdoorsman from Brentwood, Calif., correctly guessed the answer “I’M Having A Ball.”
