In the high-stakes, edge-of-your-seat thriller The Call, a thin thread of survival separates a teenage kidnap victim from her only hope: a compassionate, steady voice on the other end of a cell phone marshaling all the resources she can to find her.
Veteran 911 Emergency Call Center operator Jordan (Halle Berry) has the kind of job that’s not for the faint of heart: navigating the public’s distress in order to save lives. But when a young woman’s frantic report of a prowler ends tragically, Jordan is devastated. Reassessing her life, Jordan wonders if perhaps she’s experienced her last fraught-filled phone call. With a supportive cop (Morris Chestnut) for a boyfriend, maybe it’s time to step back, enjoy life, and teach others the ins and outs of her high-pressure profession.

Little Miss Sunshine is growing up fast, and she's ready to make the move from Zombieland to Brad Anderson's latest terror locale, The Hive. Read on for details!
According to Variety, Abigail Breslin will continue to explore darker material as she's set to join Halle Berry in Troika Pictures' thriller The Hive.
Anderson is directing from a script by Rich D'Ovidio, based on an original story by Nicole D'Ovidio, Jon Bokencamp and the scribe. Set against the backdrop of a 911 call center, the suspense pic finds Berry playing an emergency operator who must face her own fears in order to save a teenage girl (Breslin) from a disturbed killer.
"Abigail is always wonderful playing vulnerable characters so I feel really lucky to have her for this role," said Anderson.

The movie Fix redefines the term “fly by the seat of your pants.” In this film, Leo (played by Shawn Andrews) must attend court-ordered rehab by the end of the day, or he will have to return to prison. But rehab is expensive, and Leo can’t afford the $5000 it will cost him to go, so his brother Milo (Tao Ruspoli, the director) and Milo’s girlfriend Bella (Olivia Wilde, as seen on House) come to La to help him out. And by help him out, I mean they bring a camera and document the wildest adventure one day could encompass. Within 15 hours, the group participates in every scam they can think of, from selling a police dog to a motorcycle gang to stealing a car and selling it to parts places.
A film like this could have been either horrifyingly terrible or incredibly amazing, but Fix definitely falls into the latter category.
