Following the discovery of several classified documents at President Joe Biden’s Penn Center office and at Delaware residence, conservative lawmakers and media, who for months have attempted to provide cover for former President Donald Trump’s own document scandal, are suddenly extremely concerned about information security.
The investigation into the hundreds of documents Trump hoarded at his Mar-a-Lago estate was characterized by the right as a political witch hunt aimed at preventing the former president from running for reelection. Now that Biden is involved, Republicans think the government should...

During a televised debate on Sunday night, Democratic candidate Marcus Flowers accused Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of being at least partially responsible for the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, citing as evidence Greene’s false and oft-repeated stance that the 2020 election was stolen from former President Donald Trump.

“You cannot accuse me of insurrection. I was a victim of the January 6 riot as any other member of Congress,” Taylor Greene said. “That was the third day I had on the job. I had nothing to do with what happened there that day,...

Marjorie Taylor Greene is testifying under oath on Friday about her alleged role in the events of last Jan. 6.
She isn’t too happy about it.
The court appearance follows U.S. District Court Judge Amy Totenberg’s ruling earlier this week that a case seeking to disqualify Greene from office for “engaging in insurrection or rebellion” could proceed. Greene has consistently and very publicly pushed conspiracy theories about the 2020 election, while rilling up her supporters to descend on Washington, D.C., ahead of the election’s certification last Jan.

Sen. Marsha Blackburn last month asked Ketanji Brown Jackson how she defines a woman. It’s a ludicrous question and the Supreme Court nominee was right to decline to answer it. “I’m not a biologist,” Jackson said during the hearing. The exchange threw right-wing media and bigoted Republican lawmakers into a tizzy, just as Blackburn intended. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, one such bigoted Republican lawmaker, attacked Jackson over the weekend while offering her own definition of a woman.

Ohio Senate candidate J.D. Vance didn’t have a bad word to say about Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)’s participating in a white nationalist event last month.
“She is my friend, and she did nothing wrong,” Vance said of Greene’s participating in the event. “She said nothing wrong, and I’m absolutely not going to throw her under the bus, or anybody else who’s a friend of mine.”
Greene, the bigoted conspiracy theorist whose endorsement Vance gladly accepted in January, was a guest of America First Pac...
