TLC is at it again, with a new sort of mystery docu-drama about a very real scandal in a small town more than 50 years ago. Over three nights, new series Taken At Birth chronicles attempts to reunite families after a doctor named Thomas Hicks sold over 200 newborn babies from the back steps of his clinic in Georgia. The show is lead by "Hicks Baby" and lead investigator Jane Blasio who has teamed up with Chris Jacobs and Lisa Joyner to unravel this wild mystery, and there's so much going on here that it seems somewhat shocking it's only a three-night event. As we learned when the investigators and hosts took the stage at the TV Critics Association summer press tour, mothers were...

Thirty years have passed since the release of "Pretty in Pink" (on February 28, 1986), and yet we're still bewildered by the teen romance's climax.
Maybe we need to think of the John Hughes-scripted film as Gen X's own "Casablanca." The ending makes more sense if you think of Duckie (Jon Cryer) as Humphrey Bogart, letting the woman he loves (Molly Ringwald's Andie) go off with the dull-but-decent guy (Andrew McCarthy's Blane) because he's finally admitted to himself that he's a chivalrous romantic who values her happiness above his own. Yeah, it's a stretch, but it's just one of many interpretations to spin out of this Hughes classic.
In honor of the film turning the big three-0, here are 15 surprising facts about the best movie ever named after a Psychedelic Furs song.

Jon Cryer's ex-wife wants almost $89,000 in child support from the "Two and a Half Men" actor, claiming that her son is being bullied due to poverty. After all, she only gets $8000 per month to care for the boy now.
Sarah Trigger, Cryer's wife from 1999 to 2004 and the mother of their son, Charlie, claims that her current child support amount is not sufficient (as reported by TMZ). The current deal between the exes, set in 2010, specifies that Trigger gets $8000 each month in order to care for 13-year-old Charlie.
Why have things changed now? According to Trigger, she only had custody of Charlie about 4 percent of the time in 2010. Now, she has him half of the time. Because of the increase in childcare time, she wants more money.
Furthering the woman's argument in all of this is the lifestyle she claims is standard at Charlie's high-end private school, The Buckley School.

ABC quietly unveiled a new reality series on Tuesday night. Like the network's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition series, Find My Family had audience members reaching for the tissues by the box. But, more importantly for the show's future, how did it do in the ratings?
Hosted by Tim Green and Lisa Joyner, Find My Family helps people reconnect with family members after being separated for many years. The emotional reunions take place on-camera and in front of a place known as the "Family Tree."
Following the performance finale of Dancing with the Stars, the premiere of Family attracted 12.76 million viewers and a 2.9 rating in the 18-49 demographic. Those numbers look okay on their own but its significant that the series lost about 40% of its lead-in audience. ABC can't be happy about that.

Actor Jon Cryer is planning to adopt his first child with wife Lisa Joyner, according to U.S. reports.
The Pretty In Pink star will reportedly expand his family just months after assuming temporary custody of his nine-year-old son Charlie with his ex-wife, actress Sarah Trigger - who was arrested in May on felony neglect charges.
At the time, Trigger's two-year-old son with her current husband was found with rope and cord marks around his neck.
Trigger denies claims of neglect, calling the incident an "accident and a misunderstanding". She is seeking to regain custody of Charlie and the toddler.
A source tells the National Enquirer, "Jon and Lisa want to remove Charlie from what they believe is an unsafe living environment by getting full custody of him. And they are also adopting another child... The couple had already undergone the rigorous investigations required to adopt - and (have) been approved."
Cryer wed British-born Trigger in 1999 but they divorced in 2004. The actor married second wife, entertainment reporter Joyner, in 2007.
A spokesperson for the actor had not responded to requests for comment as WENN went to press.
