- Geraldine Katt was born on February 4, 1920 in Vienna, Austria. She was an actress, known for Zwölf Minuten nach zwölf (1939), Night on Mont-Blanc (1951) and Es lebe das Leben (1949). She died on November 9, 1995.
- Viennese-born leading actress of Slovenian-Austrian parentage, trained at the Max Reinhardt Seminar and seen in romantic comedies and melodramas of the 1930's and 40's. After World War II, she concentrated on stage acting. After marrying the Swiss theatrical manager/director Hermann Juch, she moved to Switzerland and became a teacher of theology.
