- Claude Kirchner was born on February 11, 1916 in Rostock, Germany. He was an actor, known for Super Adventure Theater (1959), Ladies Be Seated (1949) and Super Circus (1949). He died on March 8, 1993 in Hawthorne, New York, USA.
- Host and Ringmaster of "Terrytoon Circus" (later "Merrytoon Circus") on WOR-TV channel 9 in New York. The show always opened with "Clownie" his sidekick breaking through a paper-covered hoop saying "Here he is, the one and only, "Skinny-bones" (because he was tall and thin), C. K., Claude Kirchner!" Claude on "Clownie" had an ongoing battle about nonsense, and Claude Kirchner was somewhat of a ventriloquist, providing the high-pitched voice of "Clownie".
