- She was born in Catemu, Valparaíso, Chile, in 1912, the first of three children of Mary Grisel (Bissett) and Andrew William Lehmann, director of a mining company. Her father, born in Paris, was of German and French descent, while her mother was Scottish. Olga was educated by an English governess and then at an American college in Santiago. Olga's sister, Monica Lehmann, was the paternal grandmother of actress Rebecca Pidgeon. Olga's great-great-niece is thus actress Clara Mamet, Rebecca's daughter.
- Latterly she did television film work. Although she did not win, she had a string of Emmy nominations.
- Olga painted three portraits: of Sable Colby (Stephanie Beacham), Jason Colby (Charlton Heston) and Conny Colby Patterson (Barbara Stanwyck).
- Won a scholarship at 16 to study at the Slade School of Fine Art, London, specialising in portraiture under Alan Gwynn Jones and theatrical design under Vladimir Polunin, winning prizes in Life Painting, Composition and Theatrical design.
- Olga painted many portraits, among them those of James Mason, Marlene Dietrich, Dirk Bogarde, Patrice Wymore, Terry Moore, Judith Anderson, Richard Todd and Audrey Hepburn.
- She designed the now iconic poster Big Brother is Watching You for the 1956 film of George Orwell's "1984" using the face of her husband Carl Huson as a model for that of "Big Brother".
- Her son is Paul Huson.
