Adam Leipzig is the Founder and CEO of MediaU and Credential Media Ventures, which solves problems and dramatically reducing friction-points for learners, higher-education institutions, and workforce employers, by providing accelerated online education to open doors of access for content creation, filmmaking and media. He is also CEO of Entertainment Media Partners, the former President of National Geographic Films and a past Senior VP at Walt Disney Studios. Adam publishes Cultural Daily, a digital magazine, serves as professional faculty at the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business, and is the author of the highly acclaimed books 'Inside Track for Independent Filmmakers: Get Your Movie Made, Get Your Movie Seen' and 'Filmmaking in Action,' both published by Macmillan. Adam has been a producer, distributor or supervising executive on more than 35 films, including 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids,' 'Dead Poets Society,' 'Titus,' 'March of the Penguins', and 'A Plastic Ocean.' Adam's movies have won or been nominated for 10 Academy Awards, 11 BAFTA Awards, 2 Golden Globes, 2 Emmys, 2 Directors Guild Awards, 4 Sundance Awards and 4 Independent Spirit Awards.
