Leon Lewandowski(I)
- Additional Crew
Leon Lewandowski graduated the University of California, Santa Barbara
in 1991. He used the experience to write screenplays. Moving to Florida
in 1992 to pursue his film career proved worthless, and Lewandowski
returned to Santa Barbara to continue to write screenplays. In 1997,
Lewandowski got his big opportunity, working with Robert Zemeckis on the film
_Contact(1997)_. The experience left Lewandowski realizing that writing was
where he was best suited. Since finishing _Contact(1997)_ Lewandowski has
become an elementary school teacher in Santa Barbara. He's still
writing. Six screenplays and five books are under his belt. Currently,
a short film he's written is being cast. His first childrens book is
currently being illustrated. He's also looking for representation while
marketing his latest family film, a holiday feature titled "Call Me
Kris". Lewandowski finds time to spend with his wife and toddler
daughter, to play basketball, and run his non-profit organization for
elementary students called the Student Improvement Scholarship Fund.
