Netflix has always been in the business of making bold moves. This was a company that made the seemingly-stupid decision of mailing its customers DVDs, and once that took off, it made the decision to shift its focus to online streaming. They then shifted their emphasis onto producing original content, a move that seems to be doing wonders for them. While all the signs point to this being a big success, the fact is they’re the only ones with their hands on all their user data, so even when they make a move seemingly out of the blue, we can only imagine it’s because they know something we don’t.

Discovery Canada announced today that Jason Momoa (Game Of Thrones, Batman Vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice) will lead the international cast for its ambitious new original Canadian scripted series, Frontier. Commissioned by Discovery Canada earlier this year and shooting in beautifully vivid 4K Uhd, production is now underway in Canada and the U.K. on the thrilling and richly layered premium drama, the first original scriped series in Discovery Canada history. Created by Rob Blackie and Peter Blackie, the six-episode, one-hour drama is produced by leading Canadian independent producers Take the Shot Productions, and Factory Backwards, and will be seen around the world via international broadcast partner Netflix.
Alun Armstrong (New Tricks, Braveheart), Landon Liboiron (Hemlock Grove, Degrassi), Zoe Boyle (Downton Abbey, Sons Of Anarchy), and Allan Hawco (Republic Of Doyle), round out the international cast. The series also introduces Canadian newcomer, Jessica Matten.

Only Fools and Horses legend Roger Lloyd-Pack died last month after losing a battle with pancreatic cancer.
The comedy legend will be sorely missed by TV fans and when we caught up with his Only Fools co-star and close friend Paul Barber, we spoke about what made Lloyd-Pack so special and how there was so much more to him than the character Trigger.
Barber also shared his thoughts on a possible Only Fools reunion.

Whoever has worked with Roger can count him as family. Every show he's done, he turned it into a family environment. I am sure everyone who has worked with him will say that. To me he was a great mate - fabulous. I was actually in Liverpool when he died.
I was on set all day and didn't turn my phone on until about 3pm, by which point when I did turn it on,...
