Isabella Rossellini's Green Porno and Other Shorts is now showing on Mubi in many countries.Green Porno: Mantis. Ask any film lover about Isabella Rossellini, and the first image that springs to their mind is most likely to be the star’s iconic performance as songstress Dorothy Vallens, the femme fatale of David Lynch’s Blue Velvet (1986), a glamorous yet tortured vision draped in sensual, shimmering black. Revealing a delightfully eccentric side to her screen image, Rossellini’s directorial career ventures into a very different realm of sexuality: that of the mating and maternal habits seen in the animal kingdom. Rossellini’s playful and educational micro-shorts—divided into three series cheekily titled Green Porno (2006–2008), Seduce Me (2010), and Mammas (2013)—are vaudevillian studies in animal behavior, awash in puppetry, construction-paper sets, and slapstick. In addition to her writing and directing duties, Rossellini also gamely performs these frisky rituals in inventive,...

For starters, Blood in the Water adds two new monsters to Barotrauma—the Viperling and a new Spineling variant—which employ poison attacks. Existing monsters have also been tweaked, with Abyss monsters now better at targeting characters inside the submarine for added danger.

Having played J. Jonah Jameson in Marvel and Commissioner Gordon in DC, J.K. Simmons is no stranger to excelling in the comic book genre. And with Invincible, the Oscar-winner was once again allowed to spread his acting chops in the realm of superheroes, and unlike his live-action Cbm counterparts, Omni-Man was not bound by mortality.
But this isn’t the lone time the actor has voiced Cbm characters in animation, as prior to this series, the Whiplash Star had played two major DC villains in the acclaimed Justice League Unlimited.

Fortnite is known to bring skins of iconic characters to the game as cosmetic items. These skins are sometimes dropped for free, but most unique skins need to be purchased in-game, and once bought, they can be equipped and used in any of the modes.
There are reportedly over 1,700 outfits or skins in the game, and as Fortnite continues to add more, the next skin could well be the first invisible skin added to the game. Drax from the Marvel comics is reportedly headed to Fortnite soon, and those aware of Drax’s funny attempt at trying to be invisible in a Marvel movie and fans were quick to drop jokes about it.

Guardians of the Galaxy concluded its trilogy with the release of Vol. 3, delivering an emotionally charged finale. Notably, this marked James Gunn’s farewell to the MCU following his dismissal over old Tweets, subsequently taking the reins of the revitalized Dcu. Throughout the film, pivotal members of the Guardians chose divergent paths.
Gamora rejoined the Ravagers, Quill returned to Earth, Mantis embarked on a personal quest, and Nebula and Drax remained on Knowhere, safeguarding the children rescued from High Evolutionary’s experiments. The core team now comprises Groot and Rocket, with Rocket assuming leadership, while Adam Warlock, Phyla-Vel, Blurp, and Kraglin replaced many familiar faces.
Despite the significant shift, fans clung to hope for past Guardians’ cameos in future MCU ventures. However, James Gunn quashed such expectations on Instagram. ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ concluded the trilogy with the release of Vol. 3, and it was an extremely emotional movie. First and foremost, it was Gunn’s last MCU movie after he was fired due to some old Tweets that got uncovered and before he took over the newly revamped Dcu. Second, as we could see over the course of the movie, half of the core members of Guardians decided to part ways and pursue other things in the Universe.

What, exactly, has been Loki‘s glorious purpose? The second season debuted at a fallow point in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with troubles both onscreen and off. But the show has proven to be remarkably entertaining, building to a penultimate episode that stands among the best things that Marvel has ever done.
After the explosion of the temporal loom in episode four, episode five found Loki time slipping to various timeline branches, gathering Casey, Mobius, and other members of the Tva, who are apparently living their pre-tva lives. With the help of Ob, Loki gathers the Tva team together, hoping to prevent reality from devolving into spaghetti.
The episode ends with Loki realizing that he can control his time slips and bring himself to any point in time, going back before Victor Timely exploded into silly string. What does this mean for the finale and for the MCU?...

Pom Klementieff couldn’t stomach Tom Cruise while filming Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One.

Dave Bautista is making it clear what type of actor he wants to be.
While speaking with GQ for their January cover story, the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor opened up about the career he wants to carve for himself and the type of roles he wants to continue to take on.
Though the 53-year-old actor has a past as a WWE wrestler, he doesn’t want to follow in the filmography footsteps of his other wrestler-turned-actor counterparts, like Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.

"The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special" may not have shifted the status quo of the MCU, but it was just what superhero fans needed for the holiday season. The James Gunn-directed special presentation saw Drax (Dave Bautista) and Mantis (Pom Klementieff) go on an Earth-bound journey to save Christmas — by way of kidnapping Kevin Bacon as a gift for Star-Lord, of course. A heartfelt tribute to finding and nurturing family in the unlikeliest of places, Gunn made sure to tie all the holiday shenanigans to what matters most. And he came up with the story in just a few hours, too.
Although it's not a complicated story by any means, the "Holiday Special" does a lot for the featured characters. Drax and Mantis get some much-deserved screen time, while their loving relationship with the rest of the team is more solidified than ever. Who would've thought seeing the...

Evangeline Lilly has heard your demands for an A-Force movie from Marvel Studios, and she's happy to comply. The "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania" star is set to return to the big screen as Hope van Dyne, a.k.a. In Phase Four, we saw Marvel putting out more women-led movies and streaming shows, such as "Black Widow," "Ms. Marvel," and "She-Hulk," and given that She-Hulk is the leader of the all-female A-Force team in Marvel Comics, speculation has run rampant that the studio might be building toward an A-Force movie somewhere down the line.

It’s corny, it’s campy, and it’s likely something that many people have watched more than once at this time just to see how many Easter eggs there are in the short but entertaining holiday special Such offerings from the MCU aren’t numerous. But one can’t help but think that there are bound to be plenty of people who will have something to say about this, so obviously, I decided to say something as well. It’s not bad, really, as the adventure that’s initiated by Drax and Mantis was kind of interesting and made for a few laughs that became

It's the end of an era for the MCU. Although we got to have fun with the "The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special," it will soon be time to say goodbye to the Guardians as we know them. "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3" will serve as the trilogy topper to James Gunn's superhero series, and could very well be the last time we see the characters that inhabit it. If the trailer is anything to go by, we are in for a very emotional trip through the galaxy. Before Gunn jumps ship full-time to DC Studios, he'll be making sure no tears are spared for the final and biggest installment of his acclaimed "Guardians" trilogy.
