“I hate her! I hate dat qveen!” Despite being one of the most maladroit sci-fiers of the ’50s, color and ‘scope and Zsa Za Gabor’s hilarious accent make this Allied Artists offering a must-see head scratcher. Bad taste! Tacky art direction! Infantile sexist humor! The word on the street is that the Me Too movement has this embarrassing howler on their kill list.

Nathan Drake wakes up bleeding. It’s biting cold and there’s flakes of snow in the air. He paws at his side, quickly deducing that the blood is coming from a gunshot wound. It’s not life threatening on its own, but he needs to find help before he bleeds out in the freezing air. He tries moving but it’s hard. And then he takes a minute to observe his surroundings and everthing looks oddly at an angle. It’s at this point he realises that he’s on a train carriage which is hanging over a cliff edge, just in time to dodge the debris falling from higher up the locomotive that nearly crushes him. The chair he’s resting on gives way, and he falls through the train, bouncing off benches and walls, before crashing through the back door of the last carriage and finally grabbing...

As if anticipation wasn’t already high enough, Sony and Naughty Dog have released an all-new launch trailer for the eagerly awaited Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, which arrives in stores the first week in November and features the return of famed fortune hunter Nathan Drake, following him through a gripping, action-packed storyline that will take you all over the world.
Nathan Drake’s latest quest pits him and his partner Victor Sullivan against a more insidious adversary – and a more personal threat – than they’ve ever faced before. Katherine Marlowe is the coldly calculating leader of a secret order with roots stretching back over four hundred years, to the court of Queen Elizabeth I and the 16th-century intrigues of her spymasters and occult advisors.

When it comes to actresses, the movie business has always had an eye for beautiful faces. Unfortunately, it has often only been an afterthought as to whether or not that beautiful face could do anything other than be beautiful. Leaf through the archives of any of the movie glamour magazines from long ago and you’ll find them a cemetery of beautiful faces primped and hyped by the Hollywood PR machine to be The Next Great Thing. Some never made it past a screen test, while others managed to survive a few screen roles, but through lack of talent, charisma, the right roles — whatever mysterious magic it is that causes a performer to click with an audience — soon disappeared, never to be heard of again. It’s a long, looong casualty list of forgotten pretties like Merrilyn Grix, Eleanor Counts, Kathy Marlowe, Myrna Dell, Sandra Giles, Jean Colleran, Sunnie O’Dea,...

Today is apparently the day for new information to emerge on top-shelf releases planned for later this year. Earlier we brought you the first word on "Mass Effect 3." Now there are new details on Naughty Dog's highly anticipated sequel, "Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception," which hits stores on November 1.
The info comes from the upcoming issue of Official PlayStation Magazine (via SystemLink). While the news is much more story-focused, there are a few new gameplay details as well. We already know that much of Nathan Drake's new adventure will be set in a desert, and Naughty Dog says that the moving sand there will create a "dynamic environment" as the terrain around you alters.
It is also confirmed that the desert won't be the only locale you explore; Drake will hit a number of locations around the world, including London and a jungle temple. There are also some strong hints that...

Uncharted is one hell of an awesome video game franchise. Uncharted 2 is one of my favorite video games of all time. It was like watching a awesome movie as as was playing the game. So of course I'm extremely excited for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, which follows Drake, as he searches for a lost city in the Arabian Peninsula.
For those of you who don't want anything from the next game spoiled for you then I wouldn't read the following information:
Drake will be spending most of his time in the Arabian desert, exploring the dunes of Rub' al Khali. You'll still be globe trotting, visiting places like London and a jungle temple. You can expect "all the things you'd expect in a desert" - that includes sandstorms and mirages. This creates a dynamic environment to explore, with altering geography, "We've done a ton of research...The way sand blows...

Sony and Naughty Dog have released a new trailer and a couple of new concept artworks from the eagerly awaited Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, which will apparently support stereoscopic 3D gameplay!
A long-standing rivalry over Sir Francis Drake’s ring – an artifact which they both contend is rightfully theirs, and which they both believe holds the key to an ancient mystery – propels Nathan Drake and Marlowe into a conflict that spans the globe and ultimately carries them into the mystical heart of the Arabian Desert.

"Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception" is out in November, but Sony and Naughty Dog have kept pretty quiet so far on what we might expect on the narrative side of the game. Any fan of the series will tell you that the story is just as valuable to the experience as the gameplay, and now a key detail has emerged: the identity of the game's villain!
Meet Katherine Marlowe. She's... not very friendly, as you can see in the above video. She's also got some kind of history with our protagonist Nathan and his pal Sully. Here's what Sony had to say about her on PlayStation Blog.
Marlowe is definitely not one you want to get in the way of, or worse, double cross! To give you some background, Katherine Marlowe is the coldly calculating leader of a secret society whose roots date back over four hundred years to the court of Queen Elizabeth I.

The central antagonist of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception has been revealed. Katherine Marlowe is a leader of a secret society going back 400 years to the court of Queen Elizabeth I, according to PlayStation Blog. She has a rivalry with Nathan Drake over the claim to Sir Francis Drake's ring, which also holds the key to a mystery. "Marlowe is a much more cerebral enemy than Drake has confronted in the past, using both psychological and physical tactics to get what she is (more)...
