Michael Fassbender, who gave two great performances this year for "Steve Jobs" and "Macbeth," is being honored at 27th annual Palm Springs International Film Festival (Psiff). He will join previously announced recipients Cate Blanchett, Johnny Depp, Brie Larson, Tom McCarthy and Saoirse Ronan.
