First job was at a movie theater in Evergreen Illinois, just outside of
Chicago.
When he was 16 and asked if he wanted a car or a video camera, without
hesitation he said "I'm use to taking the bus to school, but I can't
wait to start making movies."
Held three jobs where he was the first African-American employee. He
often enjoys breaking the color barrier and enlightening people, of
various races, to his culture by his actions rather than his
words.
Once the youngest theater manager, former Cineplex Odeon Theater
chains, ever had.
Had a severe stuttering problem when he was younger and said very
little as a child. He still struggles with the problem when he gets
nervous and says he has to think carefully about what he wants to say
before saying it.
