Author of 40 plays, including the one-act play "Birdbath", 1965, he was
considered one of the star playwrights of Off Off Broadway world of New
York City in the 1960s. The anticlimatic, all-but-forgotten end of his
life was described in a NY Times story, April 17, 2002.
