The home invasion horror short The Other Side from GroundBreak Films has just completed a 20 minute 'home invasion' short horror film sponsored by Panavision.
The film has been accepted by ScreamFest.

"The Other Side" Synopsis
When fresh-faced nanny Sophie (Jennie Jacques) arrives at her new job on a creaky farm in the English countryside, caretaker James (Nick Moran) is struggling to provide for his family and wife Rachel (Amelia Warner) is unable to cope with the demands of her newborn baby.
As night falls on the secluded farmhouse, a sinister intruder invades the property, unraveling a night of gruesome bloodshed & unprecedented terror. Who is behind it? What do they want?...

"Saturday Night Live" alumna Ana Gasteyer has joined the cast of "Mean Girls" for Paramount Pictures. The film is being produced by her former "SNL" boss, Lorne Michaels, and executive produced by Jill Messick. Tina Fey, Gasteyer's "SNL" co-star, is writing, and the project is shooting in Toronto. In "Girls", Lindsay Lohan toplines as a girl who enrolls at a Chicago public high school after growing up abroad. She then experiences how cruel teenagers -- especially girls -- can be when she falls in love with the wrong guy. Gasteyer plays her mom, a research zoologist who instigates the move to the Windy City. At the same time, Gasteyer will guest star on ABC's comedy "I'm With Her". In the show, about a high school teacher (Patrick Owen) who falls in love with a Hollywood starlet (Teri Polo), Gasteyer plays the assistant to the actress. Gasteyer is best known for her work on "SNL", where she was a cast member from 1996-2002. She next appears on the big screen in "Raising Helen", directed by Garry Marshall. She is repped by WMA and managed by Artists Independent Network.
