Netflix has revealed the full title as well as a few photos from its upcoming Luther follow-up movie.
Luther, starring Idris Elba as the titular Dci, ran for five total seasons from 2010 to 2019, airing Stateside here on BBC America.

Exclusive: BBC Studios has hired Amanda Wilson and Elliot Johnson, the co-founders of Banijay-owned production company Sharp Jack, who have been responsible for co-creating international hits including The Chase and Strictly Come Dancing.
Wilson and Johnson will join managing director Suzy Lamb’s entertainment and music production department as development creative directors, helping the BBC’s commercial arm devise and develop entertainment formats that can be sold around the world.
They will work alongside existing entertainment creative directors, Mel Balac, Pete Ogden and James Payne, to provide editorial direction and strategic business leadership for the development team.
The duo launched Sharp Jack Media in 2011 before joining forces with Banijay (then Endemol Shine UK) in 2017 to become the joint managing directors of Sharp Jack TV. James Payne’s “The Window,” which is being pitched as part of MipTV Online Plus’s Drama Buyers Summit, a digital marketplace for international broadcasters, is a drama-thriller set in the world of professional soccer.
