MADRID -- One week after receiving the Goya award for its animation feature ?P.K.3 Pinocchio 3000, ? Filmax Animation unveiled the latest addition to its slate on Thursday: ?Gisaku, ? billed as the first European produced Anime-style feature. ?Gisaku? will have its world premiere in Tokyo on March 4 and be screened at the Spanish pavilion of Tokyo's Aichi Expo 2005, running March 25 -- Sept. 25. Produced by Julio Fernandez and directed by Baltasar Pedrosa, ?Gisaku? tells the story of a struggle between good and evil, starring a 17th-century samurai who, due to a magic spell, finds himself transported to present-day Spain.
