What happens if you fathered 533 children through sperm donation years ago and now 142 of them are trying to reach out for their biological father?
In the French-Canadian comedy “Starbuck,” David Wozniak decides to take control of his life, but discovers he fathered hundreds of children after his stint as a habitual sperm donor at a fertility clinic. In addition, 142 of the children are trying to sue for the true identity of the donor named Starbuck.
The Ken Scott-directed movie stars Patrick Huard, Julie Le Breton, Antoine Bertrand and Dominic Philie.
Latino-Review got a hold of a few exclusive photos from the upcoming foreign film.
“Starbuck” will be released in select theaters in New York and Los Angeles on March 22nd.

And the most special photo is of all Starbuck’s children posing together below and my personal favorite.

Released in Canada last year, the French-Canadian hit comedy, Starbuck, was received with brilliant reviews – you can read our review here – and has since prompted a Hollywood remake, starring Vince Vaughn, which is due out in Autumn 2013.
The original will be released here in the UK next Friday, and after catching the UK trailer last month, we’ve got an exclusive clip from the upcoming comedy to share.
“At 42, David lives the life of an irresponsible adolescent. Twenty years earlier, he’d provided sperm to a fertility clinic in exchange for money. As his on/off girlfriend tells him she is pregnant, he also discovers he’s the father of 533 children, 142 of whom have filed a class action lawsuit to determine the identity of their biological father, known only by the pseudonym Starbuck.”
Patrick Huard stars in the eponymous, anonymous lead, alongside Julie LeBreton, Antoine Bertrand, Dominic Philie, Marc Bélanger,...

Released in Canada last year to excellent early reviews, Starbuck has spent the past year on the festival circuit, coming away with a handful of awards to its name, and earning plenty of praise – you can read our review here.
Already set for a Us remake, with Vince Vaughn attached in the lead, the original Quebec-made comedy will be released in the UK next month, and now a great new trailer has arrived.

Already slated for a DreamWorks remake, starring Vince Vaughn, Cobie Smulders, Chris Pratt and Britt Robertson, a trailer for the next year’s Us release of the original movie has finally arrived.
I’ve already told you the first Starbuck director Ken Scott would also write and direct the English-language remake with shooting scheduled to start before the year’s end.
Getting back to the original we can see the crowd-pleasing comedy which explores various meanings of fatherhood in the modern age, starring Patrick Huard, Julie Le Breton, Antoine Bertrand and Dominic Philie.
Sadly, I know that the film’s language may scare off many moviegoers, but if you get the chance, see this one before a 2013-scheduled star vehicle for Vince Vaughn.
Finally, the fourth annual Milwaukee Film Festival opened Thursday night with a French-Canadian Starbuck.
Therefore, check out the first trailer to see why it’s already being remade.
