Film critics A.O. Scott and Michael Phillips will take over as co-hosts of the "At the Movies" in the upcoming season.
Scott is currently a film critic for the New York Times, and Phillips is a film critic at the Chicago Tribune.
They will take over for Ben Lyons and Ben Mankiewicz, who will end their tenure as hosts at the end of August after receiving criticism from Roger Ebert, one of the original hosts.
The film review show was created in 1975 with Ebert and Gene Siskel as co-hosts and began airing on ABC as Siskel & Ebert & the Movies in 1986. Scott and Phillips will begin the 24th season, airing on Sept. 5.
