NBC’s hit Dick Wolf medical drama “Chicago Med”—the third in the Chicago trilogy after “Chicago Fire” and “Chicago M.D.”—is now casting young girl and boy actors of all ethnicities to appear as background talent and extras in an upcoming episode. Shooting this month in Chicago, Ill., the episode will surely have the Windy City’s courageous medical professionals reigning in the series’ trademark medical chaos. Casting director Joan Philo is now seeking submissions from the Chicago, Ill., area. Actors cast will receive some pay. Chicago – Here’s something novel from legendary director Ron Howard: a new comedy. And a Chicago Blackhawks-themed open casting call for the film, which is unofficially called “Cheaters,” is coming to Chicago on May 22, 2010. Information about the casting call can be found below.

Chicago – “Transformers 3” director Michael Bay has set up shop in Chicago at Chicago Studio City to audition local actors and actresses, according to a new report on Tuesday from a site that regularly publishes casting information. The film is currently in pre-production.
The site says that “Transformers 3” is casting extras in Chicago. The film is also casting extras and principal actors in Los Angeles. More information about the Chicago casting call is below.

For those left wondering where all of the updates on A Nightmare On Elm Street are, set visits for press have been occuring over the past few weeks with more due tomorrow. Since the film is still almost 10 months away from it's release, there is still plenty of time for updates.
For those of you that want absolutely every little nugget though, here's three photos taken yesterday while prepping a new set in Indiana.

The production is currently seeking Real Police officers, firefighters, paramedics, baristas, bookstore clerks, and "press types". They're also seeking some less-specific types to work as non-speaking extras/background performers for scenes shooting around June 22 and July 1st.
We've got the full details below, and please remember that these are paid positions and that being selected as an extra is a "job". Please be professional, and don't act like an ass on set.
