It’s been a long and bumpy road for Married at First Sight viewers and now we can breathe easy that the Season is over.
Fans of the show are happy to bid “good riddance” to the Denver cast for trolling us with the “Worst. Season. Ever.”
Remember that Season 17 premiered in October 2023 and aired its last episode on April 17, 2024.
That’s six torturous months of watching Emily Balch, Becca Haley, Lauren Good, and Clare Kerr’s feeble attempts at trying to make their marriages work with husbands, Brennan Shoykhet, Austin Reed, Orion Martzloff, and Cameron Frazer.
Lauren and Orion were the first couple to call it quits only days after tying the knot, and that was just a sign of things to come.
Chloe and Michael tied the knot later in the season, giving us hope that at least one couple would be standing in the end.
That wasn’t the case,...

Married at First Sight celeb Michael Shiakallis chose to ditch Chloe Brown on Decision Day rather than stay married to her in Season 17. Recently, he opened up about where things currently stand between him and Chloe today. So, what did he have to say?
Married At First Sight: Michael Shiakallis Got A Second Chance With Chloe Brown
Michael Shiakallis was the first and only Married at First Sight participant to get left at the altar with a runaway bride situation. In the nearly a decade that the show has been on the air, this was a first for the franchise. Unfortunately for Michael, he was on the receiving end of this.
The Married at First Sight experts brought in a backup match to try to remedy the situation. Michael was still willing to give the marriage experiment a try. So, the experts brought in Chloe Brown to see if...

Married at First Sight Season 17 has finally come to an end and honestly, we’re happy to bid goodbye to the Denver cast forever.
Their last hoorah was a Where Are They Now special that gave an update on the cast six months after they filmed the tumultuous reunion.
The relationships between the men and their ex-wives are just as fractured as the last time we saw them, except for Michael Shiakallis and Chloe Brown.
Although their marriage also ended in divorce, the couple had a less contentious split than the others.
In the final episode, the pair said they wanted to stay in each other’s lives, even if it was just as friends.
However, quite a bit of time has passed since they filmed the special so have things changed between Michael and Chloe?

Following the worst season in Married at First Sight franchise history, Lifetime is plugging away with spoilers for Season 18. From the looks of it, there could be yet another runaway bride in the upcoming season. So what else can viewers expect?
Married At First Sight Season 17 In Denver Was The Worst In Franchise History
It took all of 17 seasons, but, Married at First Sight viewers and former cast members both agree that the Denver season was the worst yet in franchise history. What started out as a wholesome experiment to truly find love has devolved into cast members faking storylines and duping fans and producers for drama.
After the complete train wreck that the Denver season was, the consensus is that this was the lowest point of the entire franchise, which has been filming seasons since 2014. Many watchers agree that, at the rate things are going, the franchise is on its last legs.

Married At First Sight Season 17 was one for the books. There was a ton of drama that unfolded and not one single couple wound up staying married at the end of it. One of the more scandalous things to happen was when Becca Haley called out her husband, Austin Reed, for meeting up with a member of the production staff one night. Now, Mafs fans think that they’ve identified the producer. Continue reading to see what the sleuths have uncovered.
Mafs Reunion Avoids Talk About The Producer
Austin Reed’s friendship with one of the Mafs producers was the absolute last straw for Becca Haley. When she confronted him about meeting up with the producer, he tried to deny it at first. However, one of their fellow cast members said that she saw them out together.
That’s when Austin confessed that he had gone out the night before.

A lot of drama happened on Married at First Sight this season, the problem is that it all occurred behind the scenes.
We learned that Austin Reed got a little too close with his producer, and it was the last straw for his wife, Becca Haley.
To be clear, Austin and the producer were never accused of having anything more than a close friendship.
However, after Becca called out her husband on camera for hanging out with the producer during a night out, the mystery woman was allegedly fired.
The first half of the reunion has already played out with no mention of the producer, and something tells us we won’t get much information about that in Part 2 either.
However, have internet sleuths already found the identity of the producer at the center of the scandal?

“On Wednesdays, we wear pink” took on a new meaning for the women who donned the color in various shades for their Mafs Afterparty appearances on Wednesday nights.
The foursome was also clad in pink at the reunion, as they joined forces to face off with their exes, Brennan Shoykhet, Austin Reed, Orion Martzloff, and Cameron Frazer.
The women said they wore the color to show solidarity and female empowerment.
Meanwhile, Chloe Brown stood out on the reunion stage clad instead in purple. So was she deliberately excluded from the group?

Get ready for a tumultuous faceoff between the exes with allegations being slung from both sides.

They are convinced that the husbands had it all planned out in their group chat to refrain from having sex with their wives.
Part 1 also features a deleted scene from the season: the women confronted the men about their conspiracy theory.
The husbands denied the claims, but that wasn’t the end of the discussion.
Did the Season 17 husbands have a sex pact?
Mafs host Kevin Frazier questioned the women about the lack of intimacy in their marriages — except for Chloe Brown and Michael Shiakallis, who tied the knot later in the season.

On top of that, the Lifetime reality television program changed its format this season. For the first time, there have been post-Decision Day episodes that have provided further information on the future of the couples.

While we knew the couples would opt to end their marriages since most had already failed, we also learned some new information.
Some of the Season 17 wives have teased things that happened behind the scenes that viewers don’t get to see, and we got a taste of that in the recent episode.
All eyes were on Becca Haley and Austin Reed since they were the only couple still clinging to their rocky marriage when Decision Day rolled around.
The couple battled intimacy issues throughout their relationship, as Austin refused to consummate his marriage, much to Becca’s disappointment.
After tirelessly begging for more intimacy, she started to doubt his claims of wanting to fix their issues, noting that when the cameras were off, there was no effort on his part.

Married at First Sight is a major topic of conversation on social media after the recent airing of the Decision Day episode.
We didn’t get any shockers regarding the decision by most of the couples to end their marriages because we saw that coming a mile away.
We were still on the fence about Austin Reed and Becca Haley, who started solid but had a bumpy ride in the later episodes.
Interestingly, they opted to stay married, at least for now, to try working on their relationship without the cameras.
Becca felt Austin was putting on a facade while filming. Still, despite her confusion about which direction to go, she eventually decided to give their marriage a second try.
However, did the couple want to stay married, or were they prompted to do so by producers?
Did Mafs producers convince Becca and Austin to stay married?

Emily Balch had the Married at First experts in shock when she exposed Brennan Shoykhet’s behavior behind the scenes.
The season is coming to an end at last, and Decision Day is mere hours away.
From the clips we’ve seen so far, it promises to be more interesting than the entire season, as Emily and Brennan are taking aim at each other.
It’s all going down in Episode 20, titled “Decision Day Round One,” which means there will be a round two.
The upcoming episode will focus on the original couples that tied the knot early on in the season: Cameron Frazer and Clare Kerr, Orion Martzloff and Lauren Good, as well as Becca Haley and Austin Reed.
Michael and Chloe tied the knot later in the season, which means their Decision Day will come at a later date.
In the meantime, viewers are ready for Season 17 to wrap up,...

Married at First Sight Season 17 is winding to a close, and on March 6, we will learn the couples’ fate.
We’re not planning for shockers or holding our breath for surprise decisions because the season has already told us everything we need to know.
However, we didn’t know how ugly things would get between Brennan Shoykhet and Emily Balch after they finally called it quits in Episode 19.
A spoiler for the upcoming episode shows the former couple in a heated faceoff during their sitdown on Decision Day.
It’s been a rollercoaster journey for Brennan and Emily, who seemed to have a physical connection when they first met at the altar.
That was short-lived, and things took a turn on the honeymoon, which seemed to seal their fate. It’s still unclear why Brennan had a change of attitude toward his wife, as there was nothing shown on camera...
