Larry Fink, the legendary American photographer best known for black-and-white images of America’s class and cultural divide, has died. He was 82.
Robert Mann Gallery, which represented Fink, confirmed his death on Saturday at his home in Pennsylvania, without giving a cause of death. Born in Brooklyn in 1941 and raised in New York City, Fink was privately taught and mentored in the East Village by Lisette Model, the Austrian-born American street photographer.

Deborah Reed didn’t have many screen acting credits to her name, but she made enough of an impression in her screen debut to gather a legion of fans: she played Creedence Leonore Gielgud in the (in)famous 1990 film Troll 2 (watch it Here), which has been described as one of the best worst movies ever made. Sadly, we have to share the news today that Reed passed away earlier this month at the age of 73.
Born on October 29, 1950, she passed away peacefully at her home on November 18, 2023. Her obituary notes, “She was surrounded by her loving children at the time of passing.”
Here’s more information on Reed’s life, from the obituary shared on RussonMortuary.com: “She was born to Leo Hansen and Barbara Groo on October 29th, 1950, in Salt Lake City, Utah. At five years old she moved with her family from Utah to Lafayette, California. At...

In the wake of the success of Joe Dante’s classic Gremlins in the mid-’80s, movie theaters were flooded with low-budget horror movies about pint-sized creatures wreaking havoc on unsuspecting humans. No one took better advantage of this phenomenon than Charles Band, who would build a dynasty of films about little monsters first with his Empire Pictures and later with Full Moon Features—everything from Ghoulies to Puppet Master, Demonic Toys to Dolls. One of Empire’s first fantasy horror films about little monsters, 1986’s Troll makes its HD debut on Scream Factory’s Blu-ray alongside its notorious sequel, Troll 2, often considered one of the worst movies ever made.
The original Troll, directed by makeup effects legend John Carl Buechler in his feature debut, tells the story of the Potter family, recent transplants to a San Francisco apartment complex who begin to notice strange goings-on in their building,...

"Troll: Lock the doors and pull out the weed-wacker for this house party of horror! Michael Moriarty and Julia Louis-Dreyfus star in this super-slimy scare-fest.
Troll 2: Those greedy goblins are back and hungrier than ever in this gourmet gross-out! Disguised as friendly country folk, a pugnacious posse of people-eating trolls lures visitors to their town. But a family of four is about to discover this place is a real tourist trap.
