Jim Rodnunsky was born on July 18, 1956 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He was a producer and assistant director, known for RoboCop (1987), Con Air (1997) and Hook (1991). He was married to LIsa Cooperstein. He died on June 10, 2011 in Los Angeles, California, USA.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Cooperstein; two brothers, Serge Rodnunsky of Calabasas, California and Pierre Rodnunsky of Simi Valley, California; a son, Daniel; and two daughters, Tatiana and Alexandra of Granada Hills, California.
He moved to California as a teenager and studied political science and economics at the University of California at Los Angeles where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree.
