As the grisly, counterfactual but oddly rosy ending of “Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood” continues to be a point of debate among critics and audiences, along comes “The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson” to remind even the most insistent detractors of Tarantino’s what-if rewrite of the Manson murders how much worse things could be. Like some unholy collaboration between the Lifetime network and the National Enquirer, Daniel Farrands’ unabashedly tacky true-crime thriller does nothing if not deliver on the bald promise of its title. A grimy portrayal of the last month of Nicole Brown Simpson’s life, gruelingly counting down the days toward her violent murder as she’s tormented by a host of bad men and bad juju, it’s a cheap, unloving death march of a movie — scarcely made more intriguing by the half-cooked theory it posits as to who (or how many) did the deed.

First thoughts after watching this trailer: "This ain't it." Mena Suvari is taking on the role of the late Nicole Brown Simpson for the new fictional film The Murder of Nicole Brown Simpson and if the trailer is any indication then the entire movie is going to be one wild ride. For starters, it seems like O.J. Simpson is not portrayed as her alleged killer. Instead it seems the writers are placing the blame on Glen Rogers, a prolific serial killer who claimed to have killed Nicole and Ron. The movie gets even more interesting when you consider the cast for the film. Mena Suvari is playing the lead, while Taryn Manning is portraying Faye Resnick, who the writers...

Two decades after one of the most polarizing trials in American history, our nation has generally settled on a consensus about the O.J. Simpson trial: 1) He probably did it, and, 2) The Lapd blew the case by mishandling forensic evidence. But as with other news events where objective truth has become buried under years of gossip and rumor, the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman have attracted a fair share of experts who are convinced they've figured out what really happened June 12, 1994. Perhaps that's a consequence of a cultural flashpoint where nobody on either side of the debate got any semblance of closure.

O.J. Simpson reportedly praised a new documentary suggesting that a serial killer, and not the former football star, killed Nicole Simpson.
Fox News spoke to a source that said Simpson "loves" the documentary, called "My Brother the Serial Killer." It airs at 9 p.m. Wednesday on Investigation Discovery.
“O.J. absolutely loves it,” a source told FOX411's Pop Tarts column. “He loves that the documentary is out and the idea that people are talking about him but he's not the one being blamed. Typical O.J. stuff.”
Family members of Nicole Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman were enraged by the documentary, which floats the theory that serial killer Glen Rogers killed the pair in 1994.
"The overwhelming evidence at the criminal trial proved that one, and only one, person murdered Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman," Fred Goldman, the father of Ronald Goldman said in a statement to CNN.

The head of the network offering a new theory about who killed Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman still believes that O.J. did it. That may be the most damning thing we can say about "My Brother the Serial Killer," which airs Wednesday on Investigation Discovery. It suggests that Glen Rogers (below), a part-time painter, killed Simpson's ex-wife and her friend while trying to retrieve a pair of diamond earrings at the NFL star's behest. "You may have to kill the bitch," Simpson told Rogers, according to a profiler quoted on the...

The family of murder victim Ron Goldman slammed Investigation Discovery for a documentary that suggests he and Nicole Brown Simpson were the victims of a serial killer rather than O.J. Simpson. The NFL star, now serving time for robbery, was famously acquitted of killing his ex-wife and Goldman. But he was found liable for both murders in a 1997 civil case and ordered to pay millions.
