- David E. Rose was born on October 19, 1895 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA. He was a producer, known for Circle of Danger (1951), The File of the Golden Goose (1969) and Sea Devils (1953). He died on August 21, 1992 in Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
- Producer, in films from 1930. He was at one time financial adviser and general manager to silent screen star Douglas Fairbanks Sr and served as vice president at United Artists. He was subsequently employed as general manager at Samuel Goldwyn Productions and later headed the British department of Paramount Pictures until 1949. He then left to form David E. Rose Productions.
