A veteran of over 400 productions, Michael Scaglione is an
award-winning set designer and builder with 25 years experience in the
motion-picture industry. Mr. Scaglione's resume runs the gamut from
commercials, and feature films, to corporate industrials.
Some of his clients include 20th Century Fox, Microsoft, Mennen, Motorola, Toyota, Suzuki, Ikea, Nickelodeon, Levis, The NFL and The Department of Defense.
Michael has also been a consultant to UCLA film school as well as an instructor at the Indie Filmmakers Workshop, and a two-time contender in the 48 Hour Film Project.
And you may have spotted him in front of the camera as well; with over 30 onscreen appearances. Look for him alongside Sylvester Stallone in "Rhinestone," and as a semi-regular on the television series, " Square Pegs", or as a gang member in the Michael Jackson's "Beat It" video; to name a few.
He is also an accomplished writer, having written 11 original screenplays. Five of which have been optioned. And he was involved in a rewrite for Morgan Freeman (entitled Bass Reeves) and had projects booted upstairs at UTA (Special Circumstances) as well as ICM (Those Who Dance).
