- Ebrahim Sheibani was born in 1980 in Tehran, Ebrahim Sheibani Studied film direction and received his Master degree from cinema & theater School of Tehran Art university.
In 1997 he began filmmaking career as first assistant director and production assistant for distinguished Iranian directors like Darioush Mehrjui, Bahram Beyzai, Naser Taghvai and Rakhshan Bani-Etemad among others.
He directed his first and only short film "Dark rising" in 2001 which was screened at Cannes film festival. As the youngest feature film director (20 years old at the time) in the Iranian filmmaking industry, he directed his first film "Honey Bane" which became a blockbuster in 2002. He went on to direct his second feature film "Crime scene, No entry" in 2007 which was nominated for the best direction at Fajr film Festival (The most prestigious film festival in Iran).
