Sue Shifrin-Cassidy, wife of "The Partridge Family's" David Cassidy, is filing for divorce. After 23 years of marriage, the couple seems to be parting ways.
"This has been looming for some time," Shifrin-Cassidy, 64, tells TMZ. "I am truly heartbroken that our marriage is ending."
Cassidy and Shifrin-Cassidy officially separated in August 2013. They have been living separately for four months. The couple has one child together, 23-year-old Beau.
In January 2014, Cassidy was arrested with a DUI. His manager said at the time that "Partridge Family" merchandise lawsuits caused Cassidy to have a lapse in his sobriety. He since went to rehab.

"This has been looming for some time," Shifrin-Cassidy, 64, tells TMZ. "I am truly heartbroken that our marriage is ending."
Cassidy and Shifrin-Cassidy officially separated in August 2013. They have been living separately for four months. The couple has one child together, 23-year-old Beau.
In January 2014, Cassidy was arrested with a DUI. His manager said at the time that "Partridge Family" merchandise lawsuits caused Cassidy to have a lapse in his sobriety. He since went to rehab.
"I'm glad David is getting the help he needs and I am confident he will come back better and stronger than ever," Shifrin-Cassidy says.
Cassidy, 63, appeared in "Celebrity Apprentice" in 2011.
