Kenny Stabler(1945-2015)

Ken "The Snake" Stabler was born in Christmas Day in 1945 in Foley,
Alabama, and played football, basketball, and baseball at Foley High
School. He set many records there as a quarterback and basketball
player that still stand today. He was offered minor league contracts by
the New York Yankees and Houston Astros, but instead opted to play
college football at the University of Alabama for the legendary Paul
"Bear" Bryant. Snake was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in 1970 and
played there for 10 seasons, leading the Raiders to the 1976 Super Bowl
championship. He also played two seasons for the Houston Oilers and
three with the New Orleans Saints before retiring in 1984.
