Dynamic mother-daughter and best friend duo Ginny (Antonia Gentry) and Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey) return in “Ginny & Georgia” Season 2, which gets even more chaotic than the already very complex first season of the Netflix show. Another of Georgia’s past loves enters the mix, she commits some more questionable actions and many other twists and turns develop within the 10 hour-long episodes.
Ginny and her friends are no strangers to the TikTok scene, so some song choices reflect Gen Z’s poppy preferences. The show is also not afraid to explore both the high, happy feelings of life as well as the deeper, darker, lower ones, and it does so sonically with some beautiful choices. Felix Mallard chose a song for an important scene of his, and actress Brianne Howey easily chose a song to embody her character Georgia.

Each year we are saddened when some of our favorite TV shows go off the air and we feel as though we've lost a friend. But as the cycle of TV life goes, new shows come to replace them, introducing us to different characters and bringing us unknown playmates. 2010 was a good year for new friends. Here's our list of our latest favorite TV personalities (real and fake).
10. Madhuri from Outsourced
We admit it. We didn't get Outsourced the first few times we watched it. We thought it was trying a bit too hard and felt a little forced. We also didn't latch on to any of the characters. But over time the show has found its groove and we are starting to relate to the personalities. And we are especially developing a real soft spot for Madhuri (played by Anisha Nagarajan) who is so shy she can't be heard.

The Fairy Jobmother, Lifetime, Thursdays at 9 p.m. Est
The moniker given to Lifetime's sassy British guide Hayley Taylor makes you think of a kindly mentor helping college grads make it in the scary job world. But instead, the pilot episode has Taylor reprising her role from the UK original, visiting a family in California who have been living on welfare and food stamps for years. The parents, Shawn and Michelle, are depressed and angry when their toddlers act out--no surprise considering that the house is piled high with dirty clothes and dog feces. This isn't an unfortunate bump in the road; this is a full-on emergency.

Based on the popular British show with the same star, The Fairy Jobmother is not only best explained as The Supernanny of Employment, the idea accurately describes the format. Hayley Taylor steps into people’s homes, evaluates their lives, and helps them find work. In some sense, it’s as simple as that, but if you’re familiar with similar shows, you’re well aware that things are never that easy.
In the opening episode we meet a couple who are in dire straits due to their unemployment. With eviction looming, two adorable kids, and no prospects, it’s up to Hayley to try and get them on some solid ground. Of course, finding jobs isn’t easy, especially when you aren’t sure what possibilities are open to you, and just getting a job rarely solves any bigger picture problems.
Whether it’s a makeover, an attitude adjustment, interview skills,...

Lifetime's latest show The Fairy Jobmother sees international career specialist Hayley Taylor offering "no-nonsense tactics" and advice to unemployed families across America in a bid to help them get back on the payroll. She recently chatted to reporters about how the eight-part series differs from other reality shows and the most rewarding aspect of the program... What sets Fairy Jobmother apart from other reality shows?
"I think the answer to that would be that we don't just sort of deal with the unemployment. We go back and deal with everything that sort of caused the general feelings of depression and low self-esteem and low self-confidence, and address absolutely every issue. I think that's the thing that makes Fairy Jobmother stand apart because with a lot of documentary and reality programs, what you see is what you get. (more)...
