San Francisco native Patrick Thomas at age 17 joined the US Marine
Corps. After his service he auditioned and received a scholarship to
train at Los Angeles' The Second City. He made his professional debut in the
made-for-TV film Antony and Cleopatra (1984), which starred Timothy Dalton and Lynn Redgrave.
Served 8 years in the U.S. Marine Corps first as a M60 Machine Gunner with the famed 6th Marines Hotel Co. "Hellmasters" at Camp Lejuene, NC, then in the Military Police field. Got up to the rank of Sgt. E-5.
Is of Estonian and Polish descent.
Wrestled for the Marine Corps Greco Roman 141lb. class.
Motocross competitor.
Mentored and trained by longtime family friend, actor Clu Gulager.
