There's a delicate dance to pulling off a great cameo. If a random appearance overstays its welcome, it can feel — to borrow a wrestling term — like a cheap pop. But if executed correctly, a cameo can elevate a scene into the stratosphere. David Bowie serving as the judge of the walk-off in "Zoolander" is perfection, Matt Damon singing "Scotty Doesn't Know" in "Eurotrip" gave us an all-time great "Is that who I think it is?!" moment, and Charlton Heston delivering a gripping, out-of-place monologue in the middle of "Wayne's World 2" is nothing short of genius. But for every Mike Tyson in "The Hangover," there's Vanilla Ice in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze." Sometimes a cameo happens because an actor happens to be filming something on the same lot, as was the case with John Cena in "Barbie,...

Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga director George Miller recently confirmed that the upcoming prequel will feature a surprise appearance from Max Rockatansky. Except now, what could have been one of the movie's biggest talking points is no longer a surprise!
We first met the character in 1979's Mad Max where he was played by Mel Gibson. The actor went on to reprise the role in Mad Max 2 and Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome, with Tom Hardy taking over in 2015's Mad Max: Fury Road.
During a recent screening, Miller announced that Jacob Tomuri (who we've included a photo of below) will play Max in Furiosa.
"It was Jacob Tomuri, who was Tom Hardy's double [in Fury Road]," Miller told attendees (via SFFGazette.com). "He also did some other stunts. He's a New Zealand stuntman, and he was doing some other stunts on the film, and I thought, 'Who better?'"

Tom Hardy is no stranger to putting his body through workout hell in order to bulk up for a role. His performances in "Warrior" and "Bronson" are testaments to that, as they are to his ability to wield the physicality in mesmerizing ways in action scenes. It's one of the reasons why his portrayal of Batman's nemesis Bane in "The Dark Knight Rises" is both menacing and magnetic — not to mention the carefully crafted voice Hardy created for the part.
Hardy forced his body into a demanding transformation to play the typically jacked-up villain with massive arms. While following a brutal exercise routine to put on as much muscle as possible, he also ate as much as he could to put on the weight necessary to make him look larger than costar Christian Bale, who is actually taller than Hardy. Luckily Christopher Nolan and the crew behind "The Dark Knight Rises...

Tom Hardy is a man of many secrets, just a couple being his treasure trove of MySpace selfies and dog obsession. And now we know he's got a thing for lip-syncing, too. Thanks to his slightly less-bearded Mad Max stunt double, Jake Tomuri, Hardy's been outed as a Dubsmash fiend. He's downright addicted to the app (perhaps inspired by Hayley Atwell?), and has covered everything from Wu-Tang to the Bee Gees to Whitney Houston. Of course, Tom hasn't actually revealed his secret hobby himself — all these videos have been posted so far by Tomuri and, surprisingly, 50 Cent, whose "9 Shots" and "P.I.M.P." Hardy has delightfully taken on. Feast your eyes on Tom's glorious Dubsmash collection, and start crossing your fingers that he shows up on Lip Sync Battle next season.

Tom Hardy: beard owner, dog lover, and the new embodiment of "Mad" Max Rockatansky. Also, your new favourite lip-sync hero.
As anyone who's seen his rapping-while-holding-a-baby skills will tell you, Hardy is a musical man, and now his Dubsmash clips have gone viral, it is our duty to present you the best.
1. Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You'
It's the hand swoosh half way through the empowering fist clench that really makes it.
2. The Bee Gees' 'Staying Alive'
Why is he holding an Uzi? Why is he wearing camo gear? Come to think of it, why weren't the Bee Gees holding an uzi and wearing camo gear back in the day?
3. Annie's 'It's a Hard Knock Life'
Now imagine Bane singing this. It just got much better, didn't it?
4. Wu-Tang Clan's 'C.R.E.A.M.'

On-set romances are the stuff of Hollywood tradition. But while we normally only hear about the big stars who fall in love while filming a movie together, there are tons of other couples who originate among the crew or develop between cast and crew. Well, here's one of the cuter production love stories involving two people who are technically both cast and crew at the same time. Stunt performers Dayna Porter and Dane Grant met in Nigeria during the making of Mad Max: Fury Road. She was the double for Charlize Theron, as Imperator Furiosa (she also worked with the actress on Snow White and the Huntsman), and he was the initial double for Tom Hardy's Max Rockatansky, in rehearsals, before Hardy's now-regular man, Jacob Tomuri, showed up and took over. Grant first...

It's rare for a stunt double and their celebrity counterpart to look very alike (see: Jennifer Lopez's male double).
But Tom Hardy's Mad Max: Fury Road stunt double Jacob Tomuri is a dead ringer for the actor.

Speaking with Edgar Wright following an early Los Angeles screening, Mad Max: Fury Road director George Miller said, "You couldn't make this as a CG movie." CG, of course, was used at times, though not to create an impossible scenario, more to aid a practical one as Miller notes in the film's production notes saying, "Fury Road was an opportunity to more fully realize its scope and energy with all the latest technologies. We could put our cameras where they wouldn't go in the past, and weave them through the armada with the wonderful Edge Arm system. If there was a fight on a vehicle, we could put wires on the actors then erase them with CGI. When you see Max hanging upside-down between two vehicles, that was Tom Hardy. When Furiosa is hanging onto him, that was Charlize Theron hanging onto Tom. And when you see Nux climbing onto the front of a vehicle,...
