The German language horror title Blood Glacier will release in Canadian theaters June 19th, 2014. The theatrical screening will be for one night only and the film will reach twenty-eight Canadian cities. This creature feature involves an environmental catastrophe, which creates a new type of blood-thirsty animal. The film stars Adina Vetter, Ariele Trettel and Brigitte Kren. Fans of indie horror can preview the theatrical launch of Blood Glacier here. For more on the story, several researchers are station in the Italian Alps. Here, they take samples of a local glacier. But, something is changing nature. A blood red smear appears in the ice and strange organisms are also found. These organisms need a host and they choose the research team to lay their eggs into. The results are terrifying! Both Sinister Cinema and Raven Banner Entertainment will distribute this title. These distributors have chosen Cineplex Entertainment to display their frozen terror onscreen.

The film comes from director Marvin Kren who is best known for Rammbock Berlin Undead which we gave a 4.5 out of 5. While we did not enjoy Blood Glacier as much as Rammbock Berlin Undead its still worth the watch. Directed by Marvin Kren and stars Gerhard Liebmann Edita Malovcic Hille Beseler Peter Knaack Felix Romer Briggitte Kren Wolfgang Pampel Murathan Muslu Michael Fuith Adina Vetter and Coco Huemer.

IFC Films will release Blood Glacier in select theaters and VOD on May 2 2014. In the film scientists working in the Austrian Alps discover that a glacier is leaking a liquid that appears to be affecting local wildlife. The film comes from director Marvin Kren who is best known for Rammbock Berlin Undead which we gave a 4.5 out of 5. Lets hope that Kren can deliver another great horror film. German director Marvin Kren (Rammbock) has completed production on another horror title. His latest is the biological terror filled feature - The Station aka Blood Glacier. This German language film was filmed in Austria. As well the film stars Adina Vetter, Ariele Trettel and Brigitte Kren. This title will release in the United Kingdom January 20th, 2014 and a new trailer is available for the film. The story involves a remote research station and a strange discovery.
