Lee Ving was born on April 10, 1950 in Philadelphia, PA as Lee James Jude Capallero. He is best known as the frontman for the seminal L.A. hardcore punk band Fear. His film appearances include Flashdance (1983), Streets Of Fire (1984) and Clue (1985). He was also one of the principal subjects featured in the punk music documentary The Decline Of Western Civilization (1981).
After a disastrous performance in 1981 on Saturday Night Live Ving and his band Fear were banned for life from the show by Lorne Michaels.
Lee Ving fronted the infamous LA punk-rock band, FEAR. were one of the
bands documented in the film "Decline of Western Civilization".
Lee's tattoo on his right arm "Lee James Jude" which is what he goes by when credited on the movie Nightmares (1983).

Was in MD.45 with Dave Mustaine. They recorded one album in 1996 with
Lee on Vocals. Mustaine replaced Lee's vocals on the remastered version
that came out in 2004, because the original tapes of his vocal tracks
were lost.
