Stars from the worlds of horror and heavy metal descended on the historic Vista Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday for the world premiere of Rob Zombie’s savage new thriller “3 from Hell.” The film, which is being shown theatrically through Fathom Events for three consecutive nights until Sept. 18, is the third entry in Zombie’s horrific series centered on the murderous Firefly family, first introduced in “House of 1000 Corpses” in 2003, followed by “The Devil’s Rejects” in 2005.
Rockers Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses, Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein of the Misfits, and metal guitarist John 5 were on hand to celebrate the film’s gory debut, along with dozens of actors who have appeared in Zombie’s films over the years.
Noticeably absent, however, was cult film superstar Sid Haig, whose unforgettable performance as psychopathic clown Captain Spaulding in “House of 1000 Corpses” turned him into a modern horror icon.

Killogy is an ambitious animated post-apocalyptic crime series produced by The Boondocks producer Rodney Barnes. The first teaser has hit the web and I think it looks like a complete blast.
Killogy is based on the Idw comic created by Alan Robert and features the voices of Frank Vincent (The Sopranos), Marky Ramone (The Ramones), Brea Grant (Dexter) and Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein (The Misfits).
Synopsis:
Killogy finds Sally Sno-Cones (Vincent), Summer Rhoades (Grant) and Cole Edwards (Ramone) locked in a prison cell, accused of murder — just as the world is being overrun by a zombie apocalypse. The trailer shows the rag-tag gang taking on a disembodied undead head, and a reawakened voodoo curse flooding the streets of New York with blood.

Life of Agony bassist Alan Robert's comic-book mini-series Killogy has been an indie hit since its 2012 release, due to its Tarantino-esque mix of dark humor and gory violence alongside a bizarre celebrity cast. The series is set during a zombie apocalypse and centers on three accused murderers who bear uncanny resemblances to tough-guy actor Frank Vincent (Raging Bull, Goodfellas, The Sopranos), punk icon Marky Ramone and Heroes actress Brea Grant.

The Misfits have been a revered name in horror rock since the late '70s, after which they tore up the punk scene with classics like the 1982 album Walk Among Us. The band's lineup has changed many times over the decades, and today bassist Jerry Only is the remaining original member. But according to Jerry's brother, current guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, the founding personnel – including frontman Glenn Danzig – just might be teaming up again for a historic reunion. In a two-part interview this week with Alternative Press (conducted by Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack), Doyle said he had previously discussed the possibility of a reunion with Danzig and Only in 2002, but a news leak caused them to cancel the event. Now, he says he's the only one capable of getting the team together again. “I’ve just decided this week that I am going to make an attempt,...
