Australian actress Nicky Whelan has no doubt that new parents George and Amal Clooney are “really happy” after welcoming twins.
The Inconceivable star got to know George while filming a Nespresso commercial last year (along with Jack Black) and had the “best time” on set.
“He’s got an incredible energy and he speaks so highly of his wife,” Whelan, 36, tells People Now of the actor. “He mentioned a lot on set.”
She adds: “He’s awesome and so cool — you can understand why he’s George Clooney.”

Prince William doesn't need to spend a ton of time in the gym these days, judging by how many squats he does when Prince George is around! And it's this signature move that has helped him connect with the birthday boy, who turns 3 on Friday. William is often seen getting down on eye level with little George, which helps the toddler feel safer and more in control, according to experts. "Active listening is one of the most important ways you can send the message, 'You're important to me.' Get down on the child's level, lean in and make eye contact,...

She’s been laid up with hyperemesis gravidarum (acute morning sickness) for the past few months, but pregnant Kate Middleton put on a brave face as she welcomed President of Singapore Tony Tan Keng Yam with her husband Prince William today (October 21) in London.
The Duchess of Cambridge definitely wasn’t her usual chipper self, however it was impressive that she was able to attend the event, held at Buckingham Palace.
Kate opted for a subtle-yet-stylish grey Alexander McQueen coat dress with a Jane Taylor hat as she accompanied the Duke of Cambridge to welcome President Tan and his wife Mary at the Royal Garden Hotel in Kensington on behalf of the Queen before moving to the Palace for the official state visit ceremony.
Until this week, Middleton has been spending time with her mother Carole at the family estate rather than at her home at the palace. An insider told press,...

Why choose to travel 27 hours by plane with a 9-month-old baby? For Princess Kate, 32, and Prince William, 31, the decision came down to the balance between royal duty and parenthood to their son, Prince George. The choice to undertake the extensive journey to Australia and New Zealand, where the royal parents touched down with George Monday for a three-week tour, "is entirely their own," William's private secretary, Miguel Head, tells People in this week's cover story. Whether at home in England or on her first journey Down Under, Kate structures her life in a way that allows her to toggle between her royal duties and motherhood.

Clarence House officially confirmed today that Prince William will be leaving his job as an Raf search-and-rescue pilot, raising questions about what is next for the new dad. Does this mean that William is going to go into full-on royal mode? Well, not really. The Palace has said that the Duke of Cambridge will expand his work in the field of conservation and has been named the president of a new collaboration, named United for Wildlife, which is described in a statement by the Palace as a "long-term commitment to tackle the global challenges to the world's natural resources so they can be safeguarded for future generations." The new project will bring together seven conservation charities, including the World Wildlife Foundation UK and Conservation International, as well as the Royal Foundation of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry. William will immediately get to work on his new...

The first pictures of Downton Abbey series four have emerged.
Lady Mary Crawley, played by Michelle Dockery, is seen in one image holding baby George while standing next to Tom Branson (Allen Leech), who is carrying baby Sybil.
The last series ended with Mary giving birth to her son shortly before husband Matthew (Dan Stevens) died in a car crash.
Her brother-in-law Tom lost his wife Sybil (Jessica Brown Findlay) last series when she died during childbirth, meaning they are both single parents. Daisy Lewis has been cast as Tom's new love interest
Other pictures from the upcoming episodes show Lady Rose MacClare (Lily James), Daisy Mason (Sophie McShera) and Mr Carson (Jim Carter).
Speaking of the new series, John Bates actor Brendan Coyle told Digital Spy: "I'm going to stick my neck out and say it's our best series ever.
"It's certainly my best series ever. I'm really, really grateful for Julian [Fellowes] for that.

In one of its most entertaining episodes yet, Body of Proof brought Megan's demons back into play.
The episode title, "Dead Man Walking," could be taken quite literally as patients left the hospital after surgery having no idea that they were internally bleeding to death.
Since Megan was once the cause of the death of a patient, she took the hunt for the killer personally. It didn't seem to matter if it was murder or malpractice, Megan was determined to find the truth.
Having the case visit her old hospital was a great way to visit Megan's past. "You'd be amazed how many Christmas cards stop coming once you've killed a patient on the operating table."
When Megan performed emergency surgery on the kitchen floor to save George White, it gave me the shivers. Was that a butter or a steak knife? Either way I think I'd invest in a...

As June is the month of the Sundance Directors Lab, the writers of The Film Stage saw this as being an appropriate moment to reflect back upon the early days of all things Sundance. The Sundance Film Festival occupies an interesting space in history, as it was the first film festival to focus specifically on American film, and it helped to escalate the American independent film movement. In 2009, the Sundance Festival celebrated its 25th anniversary, showcasing reflective trailers with images dating back to 1985. What is interesting about this is that the festival had actually started in 1978, and 1985 simply reflects the year in which the Sundance Institute took over its management. One might assume that in this take over was also a name change, and that 1985 reflects when it became known as Sundance. However, it was not actually renamed the Sundance Film Festival until after the 1990 festival, so the fact that...

Here at Boxwish HQ our mantra to “be inspired by movies” rings from the roof-tops. Of course, we try to keep the noise down for the neighbours but you get the general gist. This meant that our Spidey sense went all tingly this morning as we read in The Metro newspaper that Norwich school teachers are waging war against High School Musical 3: Senior Year as a corrupting influence on their young pupils. Surely not, you say. How on earth could the sweet and simple likes of Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale possibly be harmful to Norwich’s wee nippers? Those Wild Cats are innocent I tell you! Except the teachers might just have a point this time, as they’ve accused early morning cinema screenings of the Disney flick of encouraging kids to skip school. Yikes!
So why all the fuss for this, the third High School Musical film?...
