Received a B.A. from the University of Texas and an M.F.A. from the
University of Houston in theater. She met her late husband, actor
Trey Wilson at the University of Houston where he also majored in
theater...and in English.
Eventually moved from Houston with her actor husband to Los Angeles. An
actress at one time, it was in Los Angeles that she began a career as a
script supervisor.
Eventually moving to New York due to her husband's Broadway career, she
joined ABC Television briefly as the
associate casting director of Ryan's Hope (1975) and One Life to Live (1968). In
1991, she became the casting director of ABC's All My Children (1970).
Won three daytime Emmy awards for casting and has also received six
Casting Society of America Artios Awards for outstanding casting in
daytime television.
