Summit Entertainment has set a March 15, 2013 release date for the long gestating Ender’s Game, based on the hugely popular science fiction bestseller by Orson Scott Card. Gavin Wood (X Men Origins: Wolverine) will helm the feature, while Star Trek (2009) writers/producers Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman will be producers. The novel is about kids trained to battle a ruthless insectoid alien race using videogame-console based weaponry. There is plenty of sequel potential, as there are four sequels.
