- Susan Wright was born on October 22, 1947 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. She was an actress, known for I'll Never Get to Heaven (1992), The Boys from Syracuse (1986) and The Twilight Zone (1985). She died on December 29, 1991 in Stratford, Ontario, Canada.
- In his 1993 Tony awards acceptance speech for Best Lead Actor in a Musical, actor Brent Carver dedicated his award to the memory of "my dear, dear Susan". He later explained in an interview with the New York Times that he was referring to Susan Wright.
