- Birth nameMarjorie Weinberger
- Jorie Wyler was born on January 1, 1931 in New York, New York, USA. She was an actress, known for Alaska Passage (1959), Playhouse 90 (1956) and The Man Called X (1956). She died on October 27, 1992 in New York City, New York, USA.
- Although she was often cast as Native American women, she was actually Jewish and of Hungarian descent. Ironically, while she changed her name from Weinberger to Wyler to sound more "All-American" (few Jewish actors used their real names professionally at the time), she ended up being pigeonholed into an entirely different ethnic group.
- Brother: Harvey Weinberger (deceased)
- She taught acting for many years at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City.
- There is a brief shot in the film The House on 92nd Street (1945) in which a train can be seen going past in the reflection of the three-paned window of a beauty shop. This was filmed at the American Beauty Salon, owned by Jorie's father, Samuel.
- Parents: Samuel Weinberger (deceased) ; Miriam Weinberger (deceased)
