Dozens of concert-goers staged a walk-out at a Pearl Jam gig when lead singer Eddie Vedder made clear his anti-George W. Bush and anti-war stance. Several fans booed and shouted at the concert on Tuesday night as Vedder took a mask of the American president and impaled it on a microphone stand. Fan Keith Zimmerman says, "It was like he decapitated someone in a primal ritual and stuck their head on a stick." Vedder had used the Bush mask at previous concerts in Australia and Japan in order to perform the song Bushleaguer. The lyrics say, "He's not a leader, he's a Texas leaguer." But Vedder stated during the show, "Just to clarify... we support the troops. We're just confused on how wanting to bring them back safely all of a sudden becomes non-support. We love them. They're not the ones who make the foreign policy .... Let's hope for the best and speak our opinions."...
