- A regular Extra on the first season of "Babylon5." At first he played aliens in full head-make-up, eventualy being 'promoted' to a human. Can be seen in an episode involving Earth President's ship blowing up on its way to Mars, as well as in a Worker's strike episode, titled "By all means necessary.".
- As a teenager Wick hung out - and sometimes played drums - with Mark Arm, who later formed the band Mudhoney, part of Seattle's "Grunge" movement in the '90s. Wick was an early member of a band called "Mr. Epp and The Calculations." When Epp broke up. Arm and Epp guitarist Steve Turner formed "Green River," with Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament - later of Pearl Jam. Two tracks Wick drummed on later turned up on the CD "Mr. Epp - Ridiculing the Apocalypse," released by Turner's own label in the mid '90s.
- Worked his first Screen Actors Guild job, as a stand-in for JFK on "Forrest Gump" in 1993.
- A life-long soccer fan and player, Wick once tried out for professional soccer team Seattle Sounders. In 1996, when they were defending champions of what was then known as the A-League, wick attended open try-outs.
