- Chad Shields is an independent film producer and the founder of Hamilton Moving Pictures (US). His recent films include the narrative feature Seagrass (TIFF 2023), distributed by Game Theory, and Unidentified Objects (Sitges 2022), distributed by Quiver and available on Showtime via Paramount+. He has also produced the narrative shorts Fall Risk and Conduit, expected to premiere in 2024. Chad oversees a diverse slate of upcoming films including Nacimos Muertos, a Spanish language coming-of-age psychological thriller; Coco & Nut, a Bollywood-esque romantic musical comedy; and Helldust, a supernatural horror.
Before founding his production company, Chad worked as a product manager at Facebook and holds an MBA from UCLA with a specialization in Entertainment. He is a member of DGA (UPM/AD) and has been instrumental in productions for major platforms such as Apple TV+, Amazon, and Warner Brothers Studios. In 2022, he was selected for the prestigious PGA Create producing fellowship.
