- Climbed 22,842' Aconcagua in Argentina, the highest mountain in the Western Hemisphere.
- Climbed numerous high-altitude peaks including Mt. Rainer, Baker, Whitney, Shasta, and Mt. Hood. Led many novices ranging in age from 9 to 60 to the summits of 14,000' cascade peaks.
- Produced a TV test pilot titled "Women Outside" leading women of 4 generations to the summit of Mt. Shasta. All 6 of the women reached the summit.

- Won 3rd annual "Dancing with the Twin Cities Celebrities" at the Minneapolis Hilton raising over $3,500 for the Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans.
