Welcome to our review of this year’s Ring of Honor Final Battle pay-per-view, the latest Roh PPV under the auspices of Tony Khan’s ownership, which – despite not having a TV deal – has turned a tide this past year. So with that said, let’s see what went down…
Roh: Zero Hour Match #1: Taya Valkyrie def. Jazmin Allure The following is courtesy of ringofhonor.com:
Taya booted Jazmin and then tossed her across the ring with a straight onslaught. Allure fired back with a forearm. Taya placed Allure on the ropes and hit her with a sliding German Suplex. My Score: 2 out of 5 Match #2: The Von Erichs (Ross & Marshall) def. The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) The following is courtesy of ringofhonor.

As if one pay per view on a Saturday wasn’t enough, here comes Impact Wrestling with No Surrender 2022 – which has a Stacked card featuring wrestlers from Impact, New Japan and Ring of Honor… it’s almost a “supershow” of sorts! Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and former Total Non-Stop Action Wrestling/Impact Wrestling and World Championship Wrestling star Daffney Unger, whose real name was Shannon Spruill, died after what many have assumed was suicide. Shannon had apparently pointed a gun at her chest while on Instagram Live in what were her last words to the general public before killing herself. Shannon wanted her brain sent to Boston for it to be examined after her death for Cte. Shannon desired for other wrestlers and all others to be careful of the damage that can be done to your brain from physical trauma. According to her family, Shannon had been dealing with mental illness for some time. Shannon’s career as a wrestler took her from WCW to Tna/Impact, where it is purported that (a tweet from David Bixenspan on...

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and I thought of a better name for Impact…Glory Wrestling Combat. F–k you! It’s good! You’d call it Glory for short and it’d be a great way to remake Impact in the same vein as Pride, Bellator or Pancrase. You already have Bound For Glory, so the biggest show of the year now has a luster to it that it arguably didn’t have before, because it is the only show that has the name of the promotion in it. Shut up! It is so a good idea…or not. Whatever. F–k you. We have…wait…I forgot to write my Slammiversary review. Here’s the score for each match:
Decay (Havok and Rosemary) (with Black Taurus and Crazzy Steve) b. Fire ‘N Flava (Kiera Hogan and Tasha...

Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have…well, Don West, former Tna/Impact color commentator extraordinaire, has brain cancer. I’m leaving this review in the hands of Don West on this occasion, in honor of him. Don… Don West: Thank you Peter. Like Tina said to Ike, “My head hurts muthafugga!” I’ve got brain cancer and I’m currently being treated for that. I don’t know if I’ll pull through, but I think I stand a good chance. I wanted to come here and just say, in this review written by Raymond here, that Impact, Total Non-Stop Action…Tna…will always hold a special place in my heart. Mike Tenay: Boom baby! Dw: Mike! Welcome to this week’s column of The Last Week In Wrestling, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have Mr. Rogers here with us. Mr. Rogers: Hello my television neighbor. I wanted to talk to you about violence. When people watch violence, that doesn’t make them violent. Violence is wanting to be violent and then choosing to be violent. When you watch wrestling, you are watching it because you want to watch wrestling. Watching wrestling doesn’t always have a meaning besides wanting to watch wrestling. Welcome to this week’s Impact Wrestling review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and we have the fallout from Violent By Design becoming the Tag Champions last week. It’s times like this that I’m reminded of the story of Stukanga Gaitoo. Stukanga Gaitoo was a farmer’s hand in ancient Mesopotamia, when the wind was dry and hot and cracked you across the back like a frayed whip. Stukanga loved the farmer’s daughter, but could not afford to marry her. So, when the moon rose upon the cusp of night, Stukanga returned to the farm and stole the wheat from the fields. Stukanga then sold the wheat to the rich merchant Makolinga. Makolinga bought it for half of what it was worth and made Stukanga very wealthy. Stukanga returned and lied about who had stole the wheat…and said that Makolinga had stolen the wheat.
