Candace Cameron Bure has revealed she “almost died” while trying to pull off a stunt on Netflix’s Full House reboot Fuller House. The actress joined her former co-stars Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber on the latest episode of their How Rude, Tanneritos! podcast, where she opened up about the scary incident. “I almost died!” Bure said (per Parade). “That’s not even an exaggeration,” she added, noting that she still has “Ptsd” from the experience. She then described the stunt in which her character, D.J. Tanner, rode a zipline across the show’s living room set. However, she said the rig wasn’t properly set up and ended with an almost fatal accident. “During rehearsal, the rig was not set up correctly, and there was no safety stop on the end of [the zipline],” Bure recalled. “So when I landed off the zipline and stopped, the whole mechanism, which is all metal and very,...

Jodie Sweetin is expressing disappointment that her upcoming film Craft Me a Romance will air on Great American Family, where her former Full House co-star Candace Cameron Bure has a deal.
In a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter, Sweetin said she was not aware that the rom-com would land at the cable channel, which was the subject of headlines late last year when Cameron Bure said that “traditional marriage” would be the focus of stories featured on Great American Family. This was in contrast to the Hallmark Channel, the previous home for Cameron Bure’s numerous Christmas rom-coms, having recently featured LGBTQ characters in its movies.
“Sometimes, we, as actors, don’t have control over which network buys the projects we are in nor are we a part of the process in which they get sold,” Sweetin said. “So I was very surprised to learn by reading about it...

It appears Netflix’s “Glamorous” star, Miss Benny, is not too fond of how things folded out on set between her and one of her fellow “Fuller House” co-stars.
In a new TikTok, the actress, who played “the first gay character in the ‘Full House’ franchise, responded to a fan question wondering who was homophobic on set. In her video response, Benny claims “one of the Tanner sisters” — referring to Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner) and Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Tanner), who were two of the three Tanner girls that reprised their roles for the “Full House” reboot — not only tried to get her character axed, but also never spoke to her for the entire duration of her time on set.

Benny added that this Tanner sister “is like very publicly not for the girls if that makes sense.

A decade into Hallmark’s “Countdown to Christmas” initiative, the demand for original programming is higher than ever, with more holiday-themed projects across platforms. But for Hallmark, the only true competition comes from within.
“We push ourselves every year to do even more — and ‘more’ may not mean volume, but to make high-quality stories, to learn from what we’ve done really well in the past, and see what we can build on, to engage talent we haven’t worked with before and at the same time create the family of talent that we work with,” says Michelle Vicary, executive vice president, programming and network publicity, Crown Media Family Networks.
Hallmark’s first holiday film was released in 2002, but its “Countdown to Christmas” lineup began in earnest in 2010. This year there are 40 original movies — a record number — and the first one made its debut before Halloween. Airing on the Hallmark Channel...
