Michael-Claude Winfield ("Winfield") is a native New Yorker. As a director, Winfield won a Gold Remi at WorldFest-Houston 56 for Disturbed, a documentary short that had its world premiere at Capri-Hollywood International Film Festival. Disturbed was also a finalist at Malibu Film Festival, which is organized by the Directors Guild of America. As of 2024, he is in a Ph.D program for Sustainable Forest Management, where he studies unmanned aerial vehicles, remote sensing, geographic information systems, and disturbance ecology. A graduate of Fordham University School of Law and a member of the New York State Bar, Winfield formerly practiced as a corporate litigator at Goodwin Procter LLP. He has three patents in the field of machine learning and a Master's in Management & Organization from Penn State University.
